Christopher C. Ibeh is a professor of plastics engineering technology at Pittsburg State University. He is the director of the center
for nanocomposites and multifunctional materials (CNCMM). Ibeh is an author/contributor of the textbook Handbook of
Thermoset Plastics. He has a doctorate from the department of chemical engineering at Louisiana Tech University, and MS/BS
degrees in gas engineering from Texas A&M University. Ibeh is a member of the Society of Plastics Engineers (SPE), American
Society for Engineering Education (ASEE), American Society of Materials (ASM-International), American Chemical Society
(ACS), American Composites Manufacturers Association (ACMA), and the Consortium for Upgrading Educational Standards
(CUES). His areas of research interest include fuel cells, biodegradable blends, and fracture toughness of composites. As director
of CNCMM, he serves as the PI for the Multifunctional Materials for Naval Structures project, an inter-institutional project
